Point of View... How did it happen??
Imagine this scene. You are playing in the basement with a friend and one of your siblings. Suddenly an argument breaks out over what you should do next. Suddenly someone is crying. Your mom comes and asks what happened. There are 4 points of view to this scene. Yours, your sister’s or brother’s, your friend, and your mother’s way of explaining what happened according to what they know. The same is true with books. Authors tell stories from one or more points of view. This point of view effects the story in many ways!
Tiger Topic:
Think about the story you are reading. Who is telling the story? This is the point of view of the story? How would this story change if a different character told the story? What if you told the story to someone else? How would that change the story?

Percy Jackson Series Book Characters |
Have you ever noticed how characters in the book you are reading seem to remind you of someone you know from time to time? Perhaps you see yourself acting a certain way that reminds you of a character in a book. Characters in the popular Percy Jackson series play key roles in the popularity of the series. Check out this site, and find a character you can relate to.
Here is a site where you can find out about characters from Rick Rioran's popular series. Click this link to check it out.
Tiger Topic:
After checking out the Percy Jackson web link above, what character from Percy Jackson would you have a connection with? Does this character have anything in common with a character in the book you are reading right now? If so, what is the connection?

Here is a link where you can find out some fascinating information about Gordon Korman. Click here to see the information. Hope you enjoy it!
