Tigers Talk Books Blogging Club Is Back!

Good morning! Today we begin blogging about independent reading again. I look forward to hearing all about the book you are reading at this time. Add a comment letting us know the title and author of your book, what genre the book is, and one interesting thing about the book so far. Hopefully this will get some great conversations going about books!

Each of you should have a secret blog buddy. Look for your blog buddy to comment and be sure to let them know you are their secret buddy for the week and make a comment about the information posted by your blog buddy. Remember, we want to talk about books in our comments. You may have a connection to what they are reading or the book might remind you of a funny story..be creative and get blogging!!

I look forward to getting a glimpse at what each of you are reading! I am reading a book called The Life of Pi. It is about a boy in India who gets stranded on a small boat with a Tiger! So far, the boy is explaining his life growing up as a son of a zookeeper. I am excited to read more! Enjoy reading this week!

Anyway, I am reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I had started reading it before but my mom stopped me. If she hadn't stopped me then I would be done with the series. I love this book. I have read books 1-4. My favorite was book 4. I really like Harry Potter. Breadlvr

Right now I am reading a book called Peak. It is about a boy climbing Mt. Everest with a lot of other people. Some die and others don`t but most get sick. His friend Sunjo and his grandfather lied to him and they are trying to steel the summit attempt and make sure he does`t make it so Sunjo gets all the fame.

Now in my book some groups are making a summit attempt. Peaks group ( which is the main character ) is only at camp four. There are six groups and then you climb to the summit. Rescue people can`t come to rescue you when you are above camp four. Peaks dad is the all time climber, but he has his own group to take care of. Peak and his dad talk on the radio on rare days. Peaks dads group it at ABC because once you get to to camp four you go down to ABC and then up to camp five then down to four and up to six and down to five and finally you go up to six, rest a little and make your summit attempt.

Black Rhino
By richard spilspury
It is about Rhinos.
I chose this book because I like Rhinos and they are my favorite animal. People kill Rhinos just for their horns. A Rhino's horn (a pound) is worth more than gold a pound. I am learning interesting info on fhinos.
